Subscription Terms

My Thai offers an optional Premium subscription. This page explains how Premium billing and access work.

What Premium unlocks

Premium unlocks more of My Thai according to the current app configuration – typically deeper vocabulary levels, higher daily limits, and richer study controls. The exact benefits are shown in the app and may change as it develops. Your saved data and the free tier remain available. Unlimited features are subject to fair use – generous technical limits apply to protect the service from automated abuse and will not affect normal studying.

Web subscriptions

On the web, subscriptions are processed by Stripe, our payment provider. We do not store your full card details – Stripe handles the payment and securely stores payment information.

Google Play subscriptions

In the Android app, subscriptions are processed by Google Play. Google handles the payment, and billing, renewal, and cancellation are managed through your Google Play account. We do not see or store your payment details.

App Store subscriptions

In the iPhone app, subscriptions are processed by Apple. Apple handles the payment, and billing, renewal, and cancellation are managed through your Apple Account. We do not see or store your payment details.

Prices and plans

Available plans and prices (for example, monthly, yearly, or a one-off lifetime purchase) are shown at checkout before you pay. Taxes may apply depending on your location.

Lifetime access

Lifetime Premium is a single payment, not a subscription. There is nothing to renew and nothing to cancel. It unlocks Premium on your account for as long as My Thai continues to operate as a service – it is not a guarantee that the app will run for any particular length of time. Lifetime access is tied to the account that bought it and cannot be transferred. It is currently sold on the web only.

Renewal and access

Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period unless you cancel. If you cancel, your Premium access continues until the end of the period you have already paid for, then your account returns to the free tier.

Cancellation

You can cancel at any time. Where you cancel depends on where you subscribed: Google Play subscriptions are cancelled in your Google Play subscription settings, App Store subscriptions in your Apple Account settings, and web subscriptions from your account billing controls.
