Account Deletion

You can permanently delete your My Thai account at any time. Sign in and go to Profile → Account → Delete account, then confirm. If you can't sign in, email hello@mythaiapp.com and we will delete it for you.

What is deleted

Deletion is immediate and permanent. We remove:

• your account profile (name and email) and sign-in identity;
• your custom words and any vocabulary you created;
• your learning progress – review history, confidence, favourites, and daily usage;
• your app settings and preferences.

What may be retained, and why

We keep only what we are required or reasonably need to keep, and we do not use it to rebuild your account:

• limited billing and payment records (for example, transactions held by our payment provider, Stripe) where needed for legal, tax, accounting, or fraud-prevention purposes;
• minimal records required to comply with our legal obligations.

Timeframe

Your account and learning data are removed straight away. Residual copies in routine backups age out within a limited period. Records we are legally required to retain are kept only for as long as the law requires.
